Fingerprinting FP is accredited by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) as a Direct Connect fingerprinting agency, authorized to electronically capture and submit fingerprints for civil criminal record checks.
As an RCMP Direct Connect agency, we securely transmit fingerprint data through our own IT and network infrastructure, without the involvement of any third-party networks, ensuring maximum privacy, accuracy, and security.
Our Scope of Authorization
Fingerprinting FP is authorized only to capture and submit fingerprints to the RCMP.
We do not process criminal record results and do not have access to the RCMP’s criminal record database. All criminal record decisions and disclosures are handled solely by the RCMP.
RCMP Accreditation Standards
RCMP accreditation involves a comprehensive and strict approval process, including:
• Detailed security screening of all staff members
• Physical inspection of the fingerprinting location
• Installation of approved secure filing and storage systems
• Approved shredding systems for confidential document destruction
• Compliance with RCMP privacy, handling, and transmission protocols
Once approved, the RCMP issues an official accreditation letter for each authorized location.
