Process

Step 1 – Fingerprint Capture

• Your fingerprints are captured electronically using our certified Livescan system at our Brampton office.
• Fingerprints are printed immediately on the FD-258 / FD-1164 card.
• Both rolled and flat impressions are included.

Step 2 – FBI Application Submission

• We submit your FBI application online using the information you provide.
• We pay the FBI processing fee on your behalf.
• We prepare your complete application package.
• Your documents are placed into a ready-to-mail envelope.
• We guide you on how to send the package using your preferred courier.

After Mailing

Once you mail the package to the FBI, please share your tracking number with us so we can assist with tracking if needed.

Processing Time (Estimated by FBI)

• Electronic copy: Usually 5–10 business days after the FBI receives your fingerprints.
• Hard copy: Typically arrives about 2 weeks after the electronic result is issued.

You will receive your electronic result by email once the FBI releases it.
